A decade in the making. This system evolved from a modest starter setup into what I consider my end-game configuration. Centred around the Pass Labs XA60.8 monoblocks driving a pair of Wilson Audio Sasha DAWs, with an Audio Research REF 6SE handling preamp duties. Every piece was chosen deliberately.
18×22 ft dedicated room with 9 ft ceilings. Full acoustic treatment: RPG Skyline diffusers on the rear wall, GIK 244 panels at first reflection points and front wall corners. Floating floor on isolation pads.

That combination of the XA60.8s with the Sasha DAWs is extraordinary. How do you find the bass control compared to your previous amplification?
The improvement in bass control was the first thing I noticed. The XA60.8s grip those woofers in a way my previous solid-state integrated simply couldn't. The midrange is a bonus — it has a warmth that I didn't expect from a solid-state design.
The REF 6SE is special. I had one for two years and still think about it. Great pairing with the Pass monoblocks.
