Wilson Audio Alexx V vs Magico M3 — for a 22x18 room

Room is 22x18 with a vaulted ceiling, hardwood floors with a large rug, and moderate acoustic treatment on the side walls. My current speakers are the original Alexx — considering moving to either the Alexx V or trying Magico for the first time with the M3. The M3 intrigues me because I've been in the Wilson camp for a decade and I'm curious what I've been missing. But I'm also nervous about being disappointed. Has anyone made a similar transition? What surprised you?
